Dear Poetry, it’s been a really long time since I’ve last embraced your true honest love. Without you, I am nothing. You are me and I am you. I just wanted to say thank you, for all those times you saved my life, for every tear you wiped off my cheek, for every breath you made new, for every moment of pure and utter happiness, thank you. Words itself couldn’t ever paint or accentuate my love for you. If you were a man, I’d be your queen. We’d dance each night away in each other’s sweet embrace for you are perfect in the eyes of the great. You have a kind way of leaving me speechless, more than anything you help me to understand who I am and who I’m meant to be. I will speak to you soon, I love you.
